Salli Rye is Treasurer of Component 4. "I have been involved with the BCGEU for over 6 years. I started out as a steward then was elected as a chair for Local 402 in 2012. I became component treasurer in 2013. My latest success with the union is being elected to the Provincial Executive as the 2nd representative for Health Services. I'm involved with the union because I believe all members deserve to make a fair wage, to have fair working conditions and to have a safe work environment. I believe I can make a change for our union and members. I have lived in the Comox Valley all my life and have been married for 26 years. I have one daughter aged 25. I have been employed at Wells Being Seniors Services for 6 years."
