Component 7 - Education, Scientific, Technical and Administration

Members of the ESTA Component work in colleges and institutes as instructors and support staff, in private environmental testing laboratories, and legal services. Employers include community colleges, B.C. Institute of Technology, Justice Institute, private labs, BC NDP Caucus and Constituency Offices, legal services to the public (Legal Services Society, Native Court workers, Family Maintenance Enforcement Program) and many more.

Bargaining Updates

Bargaining will get underway on Monday, July 30th.  The parties are scheduled to meet at the New Westminster campus, Monday through Friday.

Your Collective Agreement expires in December 2012 and, in preparation for bargaining, nominations for Bargaining Committee Members to negotiate the next Agreement were called for, and closed July 13, 2012.  Ten nominations were received for the four available positions and a mail ballot (single transferable vote) will occur.
