Component 3 - Community Social Services

BCGEU is the largest community social service union in BC, representing over 8000 workers in the sector.

BCGEU community-based social service workers provide supports, services, and resources to vulnerable families and individuals across the province. They include community living workers supporting youths and adults with developmental disabilities, youth-at-risk, women services, child care, community justice services, First Nations family services, and employment services, among others.
