Most members of Component 10 work for private corporations, contracted by the government to maintain provincial highways and bridges. The component includes members engaged in highway maintenance, small private ferries, some municipal governments and other private companies connected with technical services.
This morning members of the Component 10 and Component 4 (Community Health) Executive set up an information line at the Ministry of Transportation regional office in Burnaby.
