BCGEU leadership visiting worksites across the Okanagan

The BCGEU leadership will be visiting worksites across the Okanagan on July 21, including in Kelowna, Penticton, Armstrong, and Vernon. 

The union’s elected leaders will be visiting UBC Okanagan, the PRT Armstrong nursery, the courthouses in Kelowna and Penticton, several liquor stores, CLBC, as well as Service BC and MCFD offices, among others. BCGEU president Stephanie Smith will be stopping at several worksites in the BCGEU RV.

Following the worksite visits, the BCGEU’s Provincial Executive will be meeting for two days - July 22 and 23 - at the union’s Kelowna Area Office.

BCGEU members in the Okanagan are invited to a family-friendly round of mini golf at 19 Greens Kelowna on Wednesday July 22 between 5:30pm-7:30pm.

The union represents 5,031 members in the Okanagan at 255 different worksites. 

The BCGEU is one of the largest and most diverse labour unions in the province, with 65,000 members.
